At AudioWave Records, everything we build has one purpose:to remove friction, protect artists, and modernise how independent labels actually operate.

The AudioWave Portal is the latest evolution of that philosophy — a private, purpose-built platform designed to replace outdated spreadsheets, scattered email chains, and expensive third-party tools that rarely deliver real value.

This is not a gimmick. It’s infrastructure.

A Platform Built for Artists and A&R

The AudioWave Portal is split into two clear, secure environments:

  • Artist Portal – where artists manage submissions, view release progress, and access essential release data.

  • A&R Portal – an internal workspace used by AudioWave’s A&R team to manage releases, assets, contracts, scheduling, and DSP communication.

Both sides are powered by the same central system, ensuring one source of truth for every release.

No crossed wires. No missing files. No uncertainty.

Pitch Your Music: A Direct Route to Being Signed

In addition to the Artist Portal, the AudioWave Portal features a “Pitch Your Music” entry point — designed specifically for artists who are not yet signed to AudioWave Records.

This allows artists to:

  • Pitch a track directly to the AudioWave A&R team

  • Submit key information, private streaming links, and context

  • Be considered for signing without needing an account or third-party platform

All pitches are delivered straight to AudioWave’s A&R inbox for review.

There are no paywalls, no gatekeeping tools, and no hidden upsells — just a clear, direct route for talent to be heard.

If AudioWave wants to move forward, the artist is invited into the full Artist Portal to continue the process properly.

Transparency Artists Actually Asked For

For signed artists, the Portal replaces uncertainty with clarity.

From a single dashboard, artists can:

  • Submit new releases with all required assets in one place

  • Track the real status of their music — from submission to release

  • View ISRCs, catalogue numbers, contract status, and confirmed release dates

  • Upload requested updates such as revised artwork or audio

  • Receive clear notes from A&R when action is needed

No chasing updates. No guessing timelines. If something changes, it’s visible.

Why We Don’t Build Pre-Save Links Anymore

Unlike many platforms, the AudioWave Portal does not generate pre-save links — and that decision is intentional.

We believe artists should own their audience and their data, not rent it back from third-party services charging hundreds per month. In practice, most pre-save tools provide limited return unless campaigns are actively managed, while retaining valuable fan data off-platform.

Instead, AudioWave provides artists with everything they actually need:

  • ISRCs and catalogue numbers

  • Approved metadata

  • DSP links as soon as they’re available

  • Artwork and release assets ready for promotion

Artists are free to use affordable tools of their choice — or none at all.

That’s artist-first in practice, not just in language.

A&R Operations, Finally Done Properly

Internally, the AudioWave Portal gives the A&R team full operational control and accountability.

Key features include:

  • A centralised release database (no spreadsheets)

  • Secure asset management with file versioning

  • Internal notes and full audit trails

  • DSP issue and takedown tracking

  • Contract and HumanMade Certification (HMC) visibility

  • A live release calendar for scheduling

  • CSV import tools for legacy catalogues

Every action is logged.Every decision is traceable.

Built In-House, Built for Scale

The AudioWave Portal was built internally to solve real operational problems — not to impress with unnecessary features.

It replaces:

  • Spreadsheet chaos

  • Costly smart-link subscriptions

  • Fragmented submission systems

  • Manual asset chasing

  • Unclear artist communication

And it does so while remaining flexible enough to grow alongside AudioWave Records.

The Bigger Picture

The AudioWave Portal is more than a tool — it’s a statement.

It says that:

  • Artists deserve transparency

  • Talent should have a clear route to being signed

  • Data ownership matters

  • Operational excellence is part of artist care

This is how modern independent labels scale without losing integrity.

And this is only the beginning.
