ORIGINS — The Fender Squier That Sparked a Journey

Gold Soul Leo’s introduction to music came in 2004 when his dad bought him a Fender Squier. At a time when online guitar tabs were exploding, Guitar Pro became both his teacher and his creative sandbox. What started with guitar quickly expanded into piano — now his primary instrument — followed by bass and almost anything he could get his hands on.

“I use sounds of nature either as ambience or to build instruments. It brings something unique and alive into my music.”

Many of his tracks begin with a simple piano chord progression or a guitar riff, expanding into layered beats, warm basslines, and immersive soundscapes. His influences range from UK dubstep and drum and bass to the iconic sound of Chillhop Music. Artists like FKJ, L’indecis, and J Dilla shape his groove and harmonic sensibilities, while the energy of Koven, Noisia, Sub Focus and Venjent influence his electronic side.

A CAREER HIGHLIGHT — The Constellations EP

One of Gold Soul Leo’s proudest achievements is the Constellations EP, a global collaboration with German producer/vocalist Godzhiller and Portuguese producer/percussionist Solposto. Featuring his guitar and bass work, the project became his most popular release to date — a milestone that highlighted his ability to effortlessly blend worlds, cultures, and genres.
