Hailing from Plymouth, South West England, G.I.N.G.E is emerging as one of the most honest and dynamic new voices in UK rap — blending grime, garage, dancehall, and raw lyricism into music that’s both powerful and personal.

What started as a way to express frustration and process pain has evolved into a movement built on faith, transformation, and truth. With his new single on the horizon and a 5-track EP in the works, G.I.N.G.E is proving that real music isn’t just about sound — it’s about soul.

The Beginning: Finding Purpose in the Pain

“I first got into music at around 14 with some friends,” G.I.N.G.E recalls. “But I grew up on rap from early — I always loved how much I resonated with it. I never got satisfaction out of the normal day-to-day life, and those rappers who went against the grain… they spoke to me.”

Artists like Eminem, Oasis, and N-Dubz shaped his early influences, fuelling a rebellious energy and passion for expression that would later become his trademark.

“They didn’t care what people thought,” he says. “They lived outside the rules — and I felt the same. But really, I’ve always loved all kinds of music. It’s more than sound for me — music is a way of life.

The Craft: Writing From the Soul

Though new to performing — with just two live gigs under his belt — G.I.N.G.E’s approach to music is fearless and instinctive.

“I can’t describe how it feels when I’m on stage,” he says. “It’s pure adrenaline. I just vibe with it.”

His creative process mirrors that spontaneity.“I don’t pre-write bars. I find a beat I connect with — whatever the genre — and write straight from the soul. I let the beat guide me. It’s all about emotion.”

That openness has given his music an unfiltered, real edge that listeners immediately connect with — each track a snapshot of who he was at that moment in time.

Evolution: From Ego to Enlightenment

As G.I.N.G.E’s career evolved, so did his mindset.“Some of my older tracks don’t represent what I believe in now,” he admits. “But I’m proud of every one of them — they were extensions of who I was at the time. I had a lot to get off my chest.”

That self-awareness marks a major turning point in his journey. The artist once fuelled by anger and rebellion is now led by love, faith, and purpose.

“My next few tracks are going to represent me in a much more positive light — stripped of ego, honest, and full of purpose. I’ve found my direction now. It’s not about proving myself; it’s about helping others find themselves.”

Standing for Something: Integrity Over Opportunity

In an industry that often celebrates fame over authenticity, G.I.N.G.E made a defining choice — turning down a major show opportunity with M24 at Republic Nightclub to stay true to his message.

“That was a real moment for me,” he says. “It took strength to walk away, but I started this journey to inspire people — not to feed hate. Staying true to myself was more important than chasing a spotlight.”

For G.I.N.G.E, integrity isn’t optional — it’s the foundation of everything. His decision reflects the kind of artist he’s becoming: grounded, conscious, and unwilling to compromise his values for recognition.

A New Mission: Faith, Purpose, and Gospel Rap

Now entering a new chapter, G.I.N.G.E has found deeper purpose through spirituality.

“I have a new direction and purpose given to me by God,” he shares. “I want to show people that it’s more honourable to be yourself — to build a legit career and live with purpose. Without Jesus Christ, I am nothing.”

His upcoming work will blend his signature UK rap grit with gospel-inspired lyricism — addressing redemption, growth, and the power of faith. It’s a bold shift, but one that feels completely authentic to his evolution.

Influences, Collaborations & Vision

When asked who he’d most like to collaborate with, his answer is simple:

“Eminem, for sure — he’s the GOAT. But honestly, I’d work with anyone I’ve ever listened to. There’s so much talent out there. I love connecting with artists who are real.”

It’s that openness — combined with humility — that defines him. G.I.N.G.E doesn’t chase trends or titles. He makes music for the people who need to hear it.

Words of Wisdom

For artists just starting their journey, G.I.N.G.E offers advice rooted in experience and authenticity:

“Focus on who you really are and always write from the heart. Don’t be afraid to show every side of yourself. Be consistent, because momentum is everything when you’re starting out. And most of all, never lose yourself chasing success.

What Real Music Means

“Real music means real life, real experiences, and real emotions,” he says. “It’s universal — something that educates, inspires, and brings people together. That’s what it should always be about.”

And for G.I.N.G.E, that’s exactly what it is.

The Road Ahead

With a renewed sense of direction and a message bigger than himself, G.I.N.G.E is gearing up to take his story on the road — performing across the UK, connecting with communities, and using his voice to uplift and inspire.

From the streets of Plymouth to the stages of tomorrow, G.I.N.G.E is living proof that music can transform pain into purpose — and that the truest success comes from staying real, staying grounded, and never losing sight of the reason you started.

G.I.N.G.E – real music, real message, real transformation. And as he puts it best:

“Without Him, I am nothing. But with Him — I’m everything I was meant to be.”
