Meet Ernani Dale — the Italian DJ, producer, and rising force in Europe’s electronic scene whose sound bridges the gap between raw energy and refined emotion. With a foundation in classical music education and a deep passion for modern electronic production, Ernani is building a career that blends technical precision with creative experimentation.

Currently studying Electronic Music at the Conservatory, Ernani has already built a growing reputation across Italy and Europe for his dynamic sets, genre-crossing productions, and innovative approach to sound design.

Early Roots: From Guitar Strings to Turntables

Music has always been part of Ernani’s life. Growing up in a musical household, his father — a guitarist — filled their home with instruments and inspiration.

“I’ve always been surrounded by music because my father is a guitarist,” Ernani recalls. “When I was a kid, I loved playing with the instruments and exploring the sounds they made.”

That curiosity soon turned into passion. By middle school, he was studying guitar formally — but everything changed when he discovered electronic music.

“In my final year of middle school, I fell in love with electronic music and bought my first DJ console. A few years later, I started producing my own tracks. That’s where it all really began.”

Balancing the Decks and the Studio

For Ernani, DJing and producing have always gone hand in hand. In his local area — where electronic music culture wasn’t as developed — he set out to bring something fresh and exciting to the scene.

“I wanted to bring something different to my sets, something recognisable that could catch people’s attention and get them excited on the dance floor.”

In the studio, Ernani begins every track with the drums, before layering in melodies, synths, and vocals. Vocals play a special role in his productions, treated as instruments themselves through modulation and effects to merge seamlessly into his textured soundscapes.

“When I’m behind the decks, I like to create a thread that connects the whole set — calmer moments, explosive drops, and emotional sections. I mix in my own mashups, remixes, and original tracks along the way.”

Breakthrough Moments and Major Performances

Ernani’s discography already features standout releases including “The Flow,” “Dangerous,” “Lost in the Sound,” and “In The Mirror.” Each track showcases his ability to fuse melody, rhythm, and atmosphere into a sound that’s both club-ready and emotionally rich.

As his career developed, he performed at clubs, festivals, and private events, often opening for established Italian DJs. His remixes have been aired on Radio Italia, and his talent has earned recognition at a national level — reaching the European Final of the Tour Music Fest in 2023, and the Final of the Nameless Contest in 2025.

“Playing in the main square of my hometown, filled with people, was unforgettable,” he says. “And as a producer, even if it doesn’t reflect my current style, hitting 4.5 million streams on my mashup ‘Give Me Calor’ was a huge achievement.”

A Defining Sound: Bass Music and Beyond

Ernani describes his sound as a prism reflecting different colours from a single source — that source being Bass Music. His productions draw influence from UK Garage, Drum & Bass, and Bass House, each style shaping a different emotional layer in his sonic palette.

“There’s the UK Garage side, calmer yet bouncy and deep. Then there’s the Drum & Bass side, which is the hardest, and the Bass House side that blends them both. I like to create little sonic journeys for the listener, taking them through different moods and textures.”

This open-minded approach gives Ernani a signature versatility — equally at home on festival stages or intimate club floors, always with a sense of identity that’s unmistakably his own.

Influences and Inspirations

Like many producers of his generation, Ernani’s musical awakening came through Skrillex — an artist he calls his greatest influence.

“I bought Skrillex’s Recess CD when I was in middle school, and from that moment, I started shaping my own sound. I think he’s a genius — the way he sculpts sounds and sets trends is inspiring. Seeing him live at Sonar this year left a huge impression on me.”

He also draws inspiration from Fred again.., Sammy Virji, and Knock2, absorbing elements from each:Fred’s emotion and versatility, Sammy’s rhythmic bounce, and Knock2’s intricate synth work.

Upcoming Projects: ‘Feelin’ Like?’ and What Comes Next

Ernani’s next chapter is already unfolding. His new UK Garage track, “Feelin’ Like?” featuring Yung Toro, has just been signed to AudioWave Records and will be released across all digital streaming platforms soon.

“I’m really proud of this one. It captures the perfect balance between energy for the dance floor and something you can enjoy in a more relaxed setting. Finding and recording the right vocals was inspiring, and I feel like this track represents the direction I’ve been heading toward.”

Following that release, Ernani plans to begin work on his first original Drum & Bass track, continuing to explore the deeper side of Bass Music while experimenting with emotional textures and new sonic territory.

Philosophy, Advice, and the Meaning of True Music

Despite his achievements, Ernani remains grounded and humble about his journey.

“I’m still building my name, brick by brick and mistake by mistake. The key is not making the same mistake twice. Produce every day, experiment constantly, take risks, and give people something new.”

When asked what “real music” means to him, his answer reflects both passion and purpose:

“True music is the kind that moves you — that excites you when you create it and when you hear it. It’s what stays with you through every moment, from the happiest to the hardest. Real music makes no compromises; it brings people together and communicates even without words.”

A Rising Talent with a Global Vision

From his early mashups to festival finals and label signings, Ernani Dale is proving that dedication, authenticity, and experimentation can carve a path that’s both individual and inspiring.

With his new single “Feelin’ Like?” soon to hit all DSPs via AudioWave Records, Ernani is poised to make 2025 his biggest year yet — a testament to his evolution as both an artist and a storyteller of sound.
