At AudioWave Records, artist-first isn’t a slogan — it’s a structure.

In an industry long known for pressure, burnout, and silence around wellbeing, AudioWave Records is proud to be among a small number of record labels worldwide to formally embed artist welfare into its operational framework through a dedicated Artist Welfare & Support Officer.

This service is complimentary, fully funded by AudioWave Records, and available to artists across the AudioWave ecosystem — because creative success should never come at the cost of personal wellbeing.

Meet Julie

Artist Welfare & Support Officer

Julie serves as Artist Welfare & Support Officer at AudioWave Records, providing personal support, guidance, and wellbeing oversight for artists at every stage of their journey.

With over 15 years’ experience in personal development, coaching, and spiritual practice, Julie brings a deeply compassionate, grounded, and human-centred approach to artist support. She is a CPD-accredited life coach and an experienced space holder, known for creating calm, confidential environments where individuals feel safe to reflect, reset, and regain clarity.

Julie’s work is rooted in empathy, self-awareness, and empowerment. Shaped by lived experience and years of supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, she offers artists structured guidance through the emotional realities of creative careers — from confidence and self-belief to pressure, burnout, and life transitions.

Alongside her role at AudioWave Records, Julie is also a co-founder of Quantum Coaching, where she continues her wider work in conscious living and personal growth.

What the Artist Welfare & Support Officer Does

Julie’s role exists to support artists as people, not just performers. Her responsibilities include:

  • Providing confidential one-to-one support for artists navigating pressure, uncertainty, or personal challenges

  • Supporting artists with confidence, mindset, motivation, and emotional resilience, particularly around releases, promotion, and touring

  • Helping artists recognise and manage creative burnout, overwhelm, and work–life imbalance

  • Offering structured check-ins during key career moments to support long-term sustainability

  • Creating safe, non-judgemental spaces for open conversation and reflection

  • Working alongside A&R and management teams to ensure artist development remains ethical, supportive, and human-centred

  • Encouraging healthy routines, boundaries, and self-awareness to support long-term creative output

  • Signposting artists to external professional services when appropriate, without providing medical or therapeutic treatment

  • Maintaining strict confidentiality, professionalism, and safeguarding standards at all times

This role is proactive, not reactive — designed to support artists before pressure becomes burnout.

Why This Matters — and Why AudioWave Records Is Leading the Way

The reality is simple:

Most record labels do not offer formal artist welfare support.

Where support does exist, it is often:

  • reactive rather than proactive

  • informal or inconsistent

  • accessed only after problems arise

AudioWave Records has taken a different approach.

By embedding artist welfare into the label’s structure — with a named role, clear responsibilities, and direct access — AudioWave Records is helping set a new standard for what ethical, sustainable artist development looks like.

This service is:

  • complimentary

  • fully funded by AudioWave Records

  • available to artists without additional cost or obligation

It reflects a belief that:

Long-term creative success is built on balance, wellbeing, and trust — not pressure or exploitation.

How Artists Can Access Support

Artists working with AudioWave Records can book a confidential consultation directly with Julie.

Consultations are supportive, confidential, and focused on personal wellbeing, clarity, and sustainable development. There is no cost to the artist — this service is fully covered by AudioWave Records as part of its commitment to artist care.

A New Standard for Artist-First Labels

AudioWave Records continues to evolve as a global, independent label operating at a major-label standard — without losing sight of the human beings behind the music.

By formally embedding artist welfare into its ecosystem, AudioWave Records is proud to be among a small number of labels worldwide leading the shift toward ethical, human-centred artist development.

Because music lasts longer when the people creating it are supported.
