Blue Ninja, born Hamdi Jebali, is a Tunisian electronic music artist whose sound is shaped by emotion, movement, and cultural fusion. Raised in an environment where music was always present, his early years were spent immersed in club culture, festivals, and performances by both Tunisian and international DJs. Those experiences sharpened his ear for rhythm, atmosphere, and texture long before he ever sat behind a set of speakers or a DAW.

The defining shift came with his move to Canada. Immigration marked more than a change of geography — it became the catalyst for creation. In a new environment, music transformed from something he consumed into something he needed to make. Production became a language, a way to express feelings that words couldn’t fully hold, and a way to blend identities, influences, and emotions into sound.

Music Without Borders

For Blue Ninja, electronic music is universal. He describes it as a borderless language — one capable of telling stories, merging cultures, and connecting people on a deeper, almost subconscious level. This philosophy runs through every part of his creative process. Rather than working from rigid formulas, his tracks often begin with a feeling or an image. A single melody, texture, or atmospheric element sets the emotional direction, with rhythm and structure built organically around it.

This same mindset carries into his DJ sets. He approaches them as journeys rather than performances — carefully balancing tension and release, hypnosis and emotion. His aim isn’t instant impact, but gradual immersion, allowing the music to evolve slowly while leaving a lasting imprint.

Beyond the Veil

A major milestone in Blue Ninja’s artistic journey is his album project Beyond the Veil. More than just a release, it represents a creative turning point. It’s the moment where sound design, emotion, and identity aligned fully, free from trends or expectations. The project stands as his most honest body of work to date — cinematic, personal, and deeply expressive.

Sonically, Blue Ninja lives in the space between melodic techno and progressive house. His music is hypnotic and atmospheric, often carrying a sense of mystery and depth. It’s designed not just to be heard, but to be felt — music that lingers long after the final note fades.

A New Chapter with AudioWave Records

Signing with AudioWave Records marked another defining moment in his career. For Blue Ninja, the partnership symbolises clarity, confidence, and forward momentum. It’s a new chapter — one that reinforces his vision and fuels optimism for what’s ahead.

Influences and Aspirations

Blue Ninja draws inspiration from artists who master the balance between emotion and precision — those who understand the power of space, intention, and restraint. Rather than overloading tracks, he believes true impact often comes from what’s left unsaid.

When it comes to ambition, he doesn’t shy away from aiming high. Artists like Anyma, Charlotte de Witte, and Argyinspire him both sonically and emotionally. On the vocal side, dream collaborations include Asal and Billie Eilish — a reflection of his belief that electronic music can be as emotionally raw as any other genre.

Looking Forward

The future for Blue Ninja is rooted in growth and consistency. He’s focused on evolving his sound, exploring new emotional territories, and continuing to strengthen his artistic identity. Success, to him, isn’t rushed — it’s built through patience, quality, and real human connection.

His advice to emerging artists mirrors his own journey: stay consistent, prioritise authenticity over hype, and understand that growth isn’t linear. What lasts is honesty.

And that honesty defines his view of music itself.

“Real music carries emotion, intention, and truth. It doesn’t exist to impress — it exists to resonate. When music makes you feel something without explanation, that’s real music.”

Blue Ninja is only just beginning, but his path is already clear — cinematic, emotional, and unmistakably his own.
